MP40

Hi lads I might have the chance of getting my hands on a real MP40 it has been decomisioned but I dont know if its legal to still own one or what its worth does anyone know more about these matters.

Hi There the firearms act(IN THE U.K.) is very difficult to know if its illegal or not if a police man sees you with it and he has a gun he can shoot you ,if you use a toy gun to do a robbery you get the same jail sentence as if it were real. Its a mine field posession of a fire arm carries a ten year sentence .So if you realy want it  I would check with the police you may have to have it in a gun safe and not be allowed to have it in a public place ,if this is the case whats the point in spending money for something no one else can see.

It's legal to own but don't take it out in public. It may be a good idea to inform the local police just in case someone spots you with it through a window and rings the police.

A guy had an armed response unit turn up on his door because someone in the street had seen someone with a gun through his living room window. That "someone with a gun" was a life sized Lara Croft figure, but the police weren't taking any chances.
