pale, here they are, the only ones I can take without dis-mantling everything. Unfortunately it doesn't really show how the recoil works. I basically replaced the stock barrel which is a solid plastic with a brass tube, but keeping the old fume extractor and muzzle brake by drilling thru it and mating it to the brass tube. The recoil frame is all styrene as you can see and it uses the ball mount style with a C channel similar to the elevation (I have other pictures that show this type of recoil set-up if you are interested). The elevation uses a Heng Long side mount unit with a DIY C channel out of square styrene tube.

I also kept the original tabs for the turret rotation, and mounted my own bolts to secure the Heng Long turret cog and just a standard Heng Long rotation unit on the upper chassis.

How awesome is that. :) Thank so much for the visual assistance. I am really looking forward to this one. Since I started getting into this hobby, I have been looking for a way to do the Patton tank. I do not have any allied armor, this will be my only once since I sold the Super P last year.

Michael,
Could you post a photo of your light assembly in the front. I see that you ran LEDs. I am getting close to working on my lights.

Thanks again for all the guidance,
Pale

pale, here you go.........

I drill out the cone shape light and use a flat top white LED:

Behind shot with the arrow pointing at the wiring from the housing to the hull:

Finally the back lights I just transplanted the Pershing ones onto the extra stryene sheet that was needed to bridge the gap:

Hope this helps !
