King Tiger, work in progress

Post by capt midnight »

Did some minor stuff with the tow cables, nothing major. I'll be doing more to it in the future, so it'll most likely be a long term project.

Here's the repaint, fresh out of the masking tape

After the q-tip treatment. A trick I picked up here, by the way!

And a couple without the flash.

I've got some of the stowage items painted and added on, as well as a couple of washes and some dry brushing done, just have to get pictures.

Great work! Isn't it amazing how light can affect photos? I'm trying to put together a thread about just that subject right now. What kind of camera are you using? Some of the new phones also take very good photos.
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Actually, those were made with my phone. Not a new one, it's a Galaxy S2. I think it's a 5 megapixel. When I get around to getting some good outdoors shots, I'll probably use the regular camera.
