Have you test fit your barrel with the mantlet yet? As far as I knew they correct the barrel slop in the newer kits so you shouldn't have an issue

My Tamiya Panther G is a month old and it had the sloppy fit. I purchased the mantlet kit from ETO Armor. It is pretty pricey but you not only get the mantlet but lifting rings and mantlet stop blocks. It makes a nice addition to the model that I haven't seen on other builds.

Have you test fit your barrel with the mantlet yet? As far as I knew they correct the barrel slop in the newer kits so you shouldn't have an issue

H1! Sorry for the delay in response I must have missed it in my haste to find parts =-) Indeed I do have an issue with barrel slop. MUst be an older kit I guess. FYI the Panther is now Discontinued =-(

I thought Paul meant he he's no longer building his Panther...I doubt very much the Panthers been discontinued.
