Taigen tiger 1 late Zim ?

On the taigen late tiger molded on the turret or is
It a stick on type that can easily be removed?
Would like to do the Zim myself. Cheers

I recall peeling mine off the Taigen Tiger turret? Lift up an edge and see if it comes off..I think it is rubbery and glued on.

Yea! it's been a while, glad to be back.
I want to replace the metal turret on my metal taigen tiger with a plastic one because it's easier to mod than the metal.
Imex are having a 20% sale so I was just thinking

I have the first one running now w a Clark board, I impressed myself that I actually got it to work so far

Rubber Zim? It felt rock hard and molded on to me when I looked at it on a Taigen tiger turret. Wonders will never cease! Stuff is just getting better ;o)

Why don't you just get the late turret with the zim already on? I think it's the same price. Hmmm, just looked, no late turret! Well, unless you buy airsoft recoil. If I were you I'd call Erik and see if he has the late plastic turret. I'll bet he does, and that would save you a lot of work. Of course, it's just rubber sheets of zim epoxied to the turret. I think they used to offer the zim kit, so there's another reason to call Erik. You're in the US, Mark, so if you're not in a huge hurry I'd call Erik on Monday morning. I haven't seen anything that says when the sale ends, but Erik will usually extend at least a couple days for forum members.

Wait a minute, you want to get an early turret and do your own zim, Marc? I have a couple extra turrets laying around, are you doing IR or airsoft? Maybe we can get you going for more like 100% off.

I really need to read these things more closely before I start shootin' off the mouth.

Max Hi. What I was thinking is getting a taigen IR plastic early turret and converting it to a mid production model. The metal turret is cool , but a bit heavy and I want to mod it and find plastic much easier to work with. I
