Are there any tankwarfare people in California specifically San Diego?

yes, there is a tank club in San Diego. They have their meets in the Mission Bay area I believe. There is a guy, Rich Johnson, who is a member of the RC Universe tank forum who is a member of that group. Give him a try.

There is also an rc tank club in the LA area. Its a short drive from San Diego but we get members all the way from Arizona coming to visit.
