Challenger 2 Upgrades

Post by DRC »

The container hasn't yet left the ship and I'm asking!

Apart from the usual metal tracks and sprockets etc what else would you guys want to see in the after-market?

And, is there anybody out there planning on selling such elusive bits?

I don't want to but I know I'm going to start spending as soon as mine arrives!

Hi guys, I think what upgrades people will want will depend a lot on what theatre they want to model your tank on, if your sticking with the desert theme then bar armour is a must, I will be doing mine in NATO green, so completely different look, it would also be nice to have some accurate modern British tank crew figures, remember they are all wearing multicam camo.

Can't wait, brig it on.

I hope Henntec can quickly produce a track tensioner for the Challenger 2. That'd be my Number One upgrade for it when I have mine sometime next year (well, at least I hope so).

Of course, metal tracks, idlers, and sprockets, and IBU2 Pro, servos for gun elevation and turret traverse, etc etc....

I want to see if someone manages to put in the gearbox from the Tamiya Leopard 2A6. Then I might take the leap.

Waiting to get my Chally before I print it all out as I want to check HL's dimensions first.

I thought this was a re issue-

Also thats why I'm waiting for the HL. I have a Tamiya Chally one and the armour is more or less the same dimensions on both.
