New to tanks
So I am new to the tank RC world and would like a nice tank I can work on and modify with items such as better gears, motors, treads. What brands should I look for? im doing this on a tight budget so any advice is great. Any suggestions would be great.

The Heng Long Sherman with 2.4 controller and mfu is probably the best inexpensive thing to start with as far as American armor.
Most of the newer HL's with that 2.4 configuration are inexpensive compared to offerings from other companies and can be left as is or super detailed depending on your budget.
