UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....In 1/16th scale..........How long did it take to get from point A to point B and back to point A

ALPHA

In 1/16 scale every real world minute would be equal to 16 minutes for our tanks. So if that would mean 16 (tank minutes) x 60 (real world minutes) = 960 (tank minutes). Then divide the 960 (tank minutes) by 60 and we get 16 hours (in tank minutes) Then just multiply up the amount of real would time I ran, 4 hours and we get 64 hours (in tank minutes) So if the tank went a scale 96 miles in a scale 64 hours it was going at a scale average speed of 1.5 mph.

But don't forget there was repair time to fix the tracks of a good 30-45 minutes (real world minutes) so in terms of tank minutes for track repairs that's 480-720 minutes or 8-12 full hours just fixing the tracks!

Also had to pull over to refill the TARR smoker which was like every 20 minutes (real world time) or 5 hours and 15 minutes in tank time. Total refuel stops was 12 and figuring 2 real world minutes for every fuel stop which is 32 tank minutes it spent a total of 6.4 tank hours being refueled! Just as thirsty as the real thing!

Last was the battery change outs, I'll say 5 real world minutes ea which would be a total of 4 tank hours ( food and rest breaks for the crew )

So after figuring it all up my KT was traveling at an average of 2.37-2.63mph. Now where this isn't exactly a blitzkrieg don't forget that some of the terrain would have been more then a real KT crew would have even tried to tackle, when the trail turned to rocks and boulders no tank crew would have EVER tried to go across it! Forget the tank breaking they would have been beat to death as the thing was slammed about.
