Yeah its got a turn of speed but has bags of torque! Standard 385 motors I think, driving a pair of 5:1 gearboxes.Kiaser wrote:tomhugill thank you sir that looks awesome

Re: 1/16 Hoobin kit
Tom, I plan to run the IBU2 in my elefant as well. I just got my board and replacement suspension and the sd card doesn't have the sound file for the elefant. Do you know where I could get this file from?

Re: 1/16 Hoobin kit
I have built both Hooben kits and found the Elefant to be more pleasant of a build that the T55. The suspension is a bit of a pain but you can look through my thread in the link to the build. It may help you out a bit. I encourage the metal tracks for it as well. Much better all around performance than the stock ones.

Re: 1/16 Hoobin kit
My dream kit is & was the 1/16 Ark elefant; The main problem with being in the US is the price to get one here and I was also wondering about any flaws since I will be running mine after it's built; so thank you for all the pics. So do you guys think it's worth it in the long run? It looks like I could order it direct from Hooben's own website for $260 (+$23 for the metal barrel) USD plus S/H. (The only other site I have ever seen it for sale was Heng-Long-Panzer.de and I'm not sure they will even send it to the US)
