Great paint job arnie, did you brush paint the dark yellow too? The games workshop paints are really good for brush painting, unlike Tamiya!Arnie_DK wrote:Ha! That is actually quite brilliant Painless
I could always test paintschemes and weathering on my Warhammer tanks maybe
Anyway. The camo is done!!
Think thats the most time I have ever spent painting camo on a tank hehe
Then "all" I have left to do is detailing, washing and weathering!

Re: Taigen Panzer IV, BB to IR and metal upgrades
Hehe thanks guys
Although, my stripes didnt go as smooth as this guy (Damn details on a tank hull!!
)
Anyhoo, did some of the details and gave it a good wash of shading. I am considering giving it a brush, with some pigment powder, so it dont look so dark.
Also, I think I have solved the "haunting"
I had a talk with Kevin from RCTA about it and he gave me some sugestions on how to fix it. His main concern, was the proportional smoke unit and the way it was installed, so I took it off and re-installed the standard smoker, but no fix. I changed the MFU, re-binded the controller. Basicly everything. Even took out the Mako but the "haunting" was still there, so it was not the Mako's fault afterall.
Last thing I did, that aparently fixed this problem, was take a new controller and bind it to the tank. Now the "haunting" seems to have gone away
I tried binding the controller, to my T-34, to see if the problem would happen to the T-34 as well. But no. All works fine and I have no idea why! Did some battling with myself, between the PzIV with Mako2 installed and the Taigen T-34 without any mods and all works well...
Dont you just love it, when things work out and you dont know why or how?
A few more pics (I love taking pictures hehe)

Well the Camo works
....Kind of makes you wonder why the Rooskies never found value in doing up their armor

After a lot of searching around the internet, for the Original HL suspension, guess who comes to the resque!!!
Our friendly neighbourhood Dominique from rctank.de!!
He recently started to sell the standard HL lower hull, so I asked him if they came with the original suspension...they do, AND he could get me the suspension without the hull, so I dont have to spend 22€ on a lower hull, I'll never use, just to get the suspension
Cant wait till they get here!
