Thanks lads, yeah its not a bad training ground at all, would be a good place to meet up and loads of us get together. It's only down the road from me, about 2 miles. It's just a little bit of woodland where you mostly see people walking thier dogs, only i walk i different kind of 'Dog'...lol  ;)
How much are Elmods, and do they fit straight in to an RX18?

The El-Mod Thinktank is a complete replacement for the RX-18. They do a module that allows you to keep the transmitter and receiver from your existing set up, but if you are going to invest that kind of cash you may as well buy a 40MHz or 2.4GHz radio system as there are far more channels available in those frequencies. Davids systems are a lower cost option if you are just looking to add IR combat gear.
