Have you tried that Zip Tie trick...another builder did that to his...worked...but his had the plastic hull...so they may not be stiff enough to support yours....if you can get bamboo chopsticks..you might be able to shave them down to fit...Bamboo is pretty resilient ...saw a video where a guy did that to his Tamiya ...the thing that was cool was you can play with the thickness to get the spring rate you want ;)

Have it been mentioned in this thread?? If so, I missed it 8O
But sounds like it could be worth trying

Had a friend by the other day, who sugested, that I found some small actual springs and installed them instead of leafs. Accurate no, but it might be more effective.

Yes Arnie...we did talk about it earlier in the thread...things got distracted after WO1c "MOM"...spoke about something else lol...thought you wrote off the suggestions ...so I didn't want to push...wish I could find that video again...the guy did some unreal work with that bamboo ...even demoed it over some woops...very little teeter totter ...just smooth compression ;)

Have a bunch of chop sticks lying around (use them to stir paints and such), so it defiently worth a try :)
And if that fails, I have fresh bamboo in the garden :P

LOL........Can't hurt right :haha: ....It might if they are the wrong kind of chop stick though lol...some are made of plain wood...those are the ones that break easy :haha: ...the Bamboo ones are usually round...and have the area to break them apart at the top ....Fresh bamboo is good too...you might want to bake it a little to remove the moisture ;)

So, I have been redoing the interior setup a bit and trying to get everything more tidy and now, my controls are backwards!! I simply cannot figure out where I went wrong. I have checked all the wires, to make sure I havent accidentally switched them around somewhere, but cant find anything... Any sugestions guys?? :)

Also... Have been trying to get the Mako2 to work, but its very weird. Sometimes it wont receive IR hits and sometimes it wont send them. When it does receive hits the hit sound and shutdown functions dont work. I have tried several times with it set to both Taigen and Heng Long. Still acts up. Also, when firing the gun the tank suddenly goes into "spasm mode" and just runs off in one direction or another...
