Re: HENGLONG Pro jagdpanther
Andy,
Congratulations! You've got a sweet collection and there are many hours of build related detailing and fun ahead of you. The Jagdpanther is on many people's 'Want' list including mine. You've got a fine example there and the sky is the limit as to how far you can go to make it more fun to drive and realistic in appearance. To make a beginning, most modeler's dispense with the cyclops eye in the middle of the mantlet. If you want to save the LED and use it for something else ( since you are adding an IBU unit to this tank killer ) just push it back into the housing then sand or file the housing flat and fill it with some modeler's putty. The hole in the main gun would seem to indicate that the vehicle is air soft equipped and has an aluminum barrel. If you are going IR, you can seal that up or if you are going to keep the airsoft unit but make it recoil, it's no issue at all. That's enough to start, sir so I'll be following along to see what you can do with this Beauty.
regards,
Painless
