A quick search shows the Australian Army does not have M1A2s in service. They have M1A1AIM which were upgraded with the SA (Situational Awareness) package.
Anyhow, a hypothetical Australian M1A2 isn't far off.
My thought on the picture posting is that whoever ( scalawag, no pressure ) finishes their HL M1A2 detailed build first opens a thread titled HL m1A2 builds and posts maybe 4 different view of his completed build, When I see it I will add 4 pics of mine which is strictly a 1st SEP version to the thread then Atc would add 4 pics of his which is strictly a SEP2 version that is the projected to be the final version of the SEP program and is used by the US army today. Then Alpha's hybrid to show some out of the box thinking.
If you want to show more post it in show off.
Keep your descriptions to a minimum, try to include the years the real thing was used and where. Try not to use abbreviations as people looking at them will probably not know what your talking about.
The exterior of the tank is all that needs to be complete. leave descriptions of all your interior mods on your build threads as the purpose is only to show the exterior differences of the different M1A2 Abrams.
After those are posted all others could keep adding as they finished their builds. with the hope they would continue to use the basic description I described whether it be a US Marine, Australian, or any other countries version.

Still have my Pt 109. May put in some modern stuff at some time and make it runnable again.
They are still showing the Desert Rat tv series reruns here along with Combat. After all these years they are kind of hokey looking now to me and the story lines are rather limited compared to the movies and CGI used nowadays. Combat used the same sets over and over while dressing them different to represent different places and the only real German ww2 vehicle they seem to have had available was a kublewagon. Think I've seen every episode of it at least once. Still working on seeing all the Desert Rat ones.
Would like them to run the old Tour of Duty series again.

Interesting how certain memorabilia retains value more than others...guess anything that survived from back then is worth something lol...especially stuff made of metal.....what has appeal on those lunch boxes is the artwork
Tried some sample pics Alpha and to get the whole tank into the picture showing it all was limited to under 200 kb size with the main gun in any position but over the rear deck
