Just been given this one to do an electrics job on. A Tiger that has done the rounds over the years. Started as a Tamiya, got modded, apparently had an Elmod, then an SLU, now the owner wants one of the original Elmod setups back in there... :/ It even has a Maybach engine, lol.

Bit of a rats nest of wiring, but hey I like a challenge... :wtf:

There are some very cool tanks in this thread. I guess with five Tigers of my own you could say I'm a fan of the breed. :)

I also have a King Tiger but it's the Porsche turret (the plastic hull Taigen)and the idlers are pretty messed up. She looks really good, but drives like crap. High on my list of stuff to be purchased is adjustable idlers from ETO. Maybe this week, we'll see.

And one thing that's got me pretty stoked is that on Thursday I'll have a JAGDTIGER! At least I will if Fed ex is accurate with their delivery date. It's not uncommon for them to run a day late. At any rate, I'll have it by the weekend, and the IBU2 is on the bench waiting for it. Not sure which TX I'll use yet, but the HK6S is looking like the best candidate right now. If I can make it self center on both sticks I may use the TGY-i6. I've also got a viper for it so I'll have volume control from the TX.

I'll do a box opening video when it gets here and post that in general, and since I ordered the plain paint job so I can paint it myself I imagine I'll just have to do a little build thread eventually, right? And if the weather cooperates I should have time yet this year to set up at least part of the village to get some shots of it with a cool background, and I'll post those here.

I've got a ton of figure kits waiting to be built so maybe this will help motivate me to have all of those ready by spring. The new JT and the Opel Blitz will definitely be worth taking a few photos and videos of, and some fresh crew will definitely be in order.

But until then, this is a video of my two best Tiger Ones. The gray Tiger runs on the IBU2 and the camo Tiger is on the Asp and that's what's providing the voice and music. I think the music sounds pretty good considering it's coming out of an RC tank. :)

I've been thinking about a bridge myself so please keep me posted on yours. I've got so many other projects going right now it doesn't leave much time for research so I'm hoping I can copy what you do, and if I do find anything interesting I'll send it to you in a PM. Maybe Ryan or Chase can ask Pah co chu puk out in Colorado about his bridge. He did one last year and it looks really good and looks like it wasn't too hard to build. . :)

The Tiger1's are metal Taigens with IBU2's. The King is a Torro with the newest gear boxes, soon to get an IBU2.
