Leopard at our shooting range... BB Bang Bang

Post by Darkas »

Because we had to work this morning I took my tank with me.
His first trip, away from home.

I did some tests with the airsoft BB on the 25m range.
When the barrel is in highest position I can hit the 60x60cm card easily at 25m.
So that's OK, although the BB has no power enough to go through the card and it's not always at the same spot.

On the 10m it was much better, more accurate.

The tank would not climb the sandhill at the end of the 100m, it was too wet, too steep and battery too low.
The standard battery and charger sucks, I need a better one with a good intelli-charger.

Bad idea to drive on sand which is been used for stopping thousands of bullets, lots of little metal pieces were blocking the tracks. But no harm done, it drove the whole 100m back without a problem.

Oh, the rifle (my own) is a Ruger 10-22 All Weather with a Konus Pro 7282 m30 3-12x56 telescope.

This location would be a great place to have a meeting.
Lots of space, cool cafe and acommodation, and everything is indoor.

The girl on the posters is showing the poses for the 3 different competition disciplines, standing, kneeling, laying.

Nice girl indeed.

No other pics, but I can make better ones, if you like... ;D

Have something better than the photos, can't read the text on the photos.

It's the same as the wall pitures at our shooting range...

Books enough, but all our members don't learn things out of books.
All training is given one on one by special instructors.
Every shooting club MUST have their own instructors, trainers and range commanders.

Of course every country has its own rules and laws.

Here in Holland it's very, very stricktly.
It's hard to get a weapon licence the first time.
One mistake and it's bye bye licence.
Also we have to do official competitions, if not you don't get a weapon licence because you don't need one.

And indeed, our accommodation would be a very nice place to do a tankers meeting.
I don't know any other Dutch people who are into RC tanks.

How many Dutch tankers are active on this board?
Only a very few I think.

LOL...I just had interest in the same techniques (poses) that ATC was interested in... don't want a pamphlet...a book would be way better lol

I can only think of one other member in the Netherlands...search for Lert ....really good guy... hasn't been around for awhile ...but I'm sure he visits :D
