They should do a world wide change...get rid of the rank all together...and give the rank of "possible Politician" as that is what they do ...they are basically the ones who's most hazardous assignments are facing the Press :wtf:

Carpe Diem WO1c Shaun

Adding to the Empire...this hunk of junk :haha:
a 1/35th scale Firefly
Image
Purchased it on EBAY...as I have a hunch I will need a silhouette tank for a future build
Ok...I'm not blind...you could clearly tell by the photos that there is a lot wrong with the model..especially this shot
Image
...upon arrival ...found it to be so gnarly...I'm surprised the owner kept it around instead of blowing it up with a firework :haha:
Anyway...spent about an hour on it...stripped it totally down so it can be rebuilt again...22 dollars...what a rip off lol

ALPHA

ps. It was kind of a bargain in a way....most unbuilt new models are going for 30+ the only ones close in price are 1/72nd scale..too small for me lol...so basically though I knew I was in for a rip...it was a solution lol

Good evening,
Congrats, Alpha! Looks like a research Firefly! A cool build to come. Old Tamiyas?, My only Tamiya Tiger 1 looks a lot like Kiaser's but is the initial RC version in 1/35.
regards, Brigadier,
Painless

Here's the EBAY link for the "Super wonderful Purchase" :haha: :haha: ...It's a terrible tank lol...spent most of the night straightening it out
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRITISH-SHERMAN ... 7675.l2557
It's all good now...nice and nice lol...needs paint now...and yes should work out to be a nice research vehicle ...I give you credit for doing that 1/35 scale Stug...it's been awhile since I've touched the scale...and was surprised how much has changed since...the gauge of the material is poor at best...I'm just glad the guy who built it used junk glue so I could tear the thing apart....it's missing several minor details...carved off the tools and threw them away...one headlight was a taillight ...and one taillight was the horn...lost it lol...there was a little warping...not too bad as the plastic was so thin...it was easily bent back in place...the tracks are terrible..but not worth replacing...and I have one sprocket to reinstall ;)
I'd like to meet this person who built it....if it's a kid or a handicapped person I would gladly shake his hand...but other than that...I would just want to find out if the guy knows how to fit things together at all...it's like someone who is used to fitting square pegs into round holes built this...figure if I have found it at a thrift store or swap meet...it would be a dollar or less :haha:

:haha: :haha: :haha: look it still has the original colour painted in the hull remarkable :O
Hey Kiaser..Had a few of those remote Tamiyas back in the day...I remember my gearboxes being made of metal...the motor had a nylon pinion gear...which would crack ....but I remember them being very solid...reason I wish I still had at least one of them now...so I could use it for some tiny tanks I'd like to build :D
