Now do you  a challenger 2 hull will be released for jumping ;)
Well you can clearly see the seller on the photos you provided...tried looking them up on EBAY...not sure I was looking on the correct EBAY...but they sure weren't listed on the UK based version

You know Kiaser...just thought about a kind of Turbo boost for these things lol....might make it jump...but it might make it blow up too :haha:
Hook up a remote activated air canister inside the tank..press a button for a boost of air that jets out from the bottom :haha:

The rain went away for awhile...snuck out to take a few quick pics...put Alissa (the Cheater girl :haha: ) along side as she is my only full torso figure...her Sherman is the only one that can take her :D

Also it isn't the best time of day...lots of shadows...the clouds allowed for some relief .... ;)
CHEVRONS... :D

PS.Passed on using frisket...went the old school way and used tape technique and brush... It took a little while to do...just because the color Yellow is weak ...three step process to apply the paint...but the result came out ok I think lol...no streaks or brush marks :D

For 1100 dollars...that can motor better be made of Gold lol...that chassis sure is pretty...but I can strengthen mine for less than 20 dollars...and it'll be stronger than any brand out there :D

Even better, I like it a lot.
This tank in general is very easy to like don't you think Scalawag..personally I like the "lines" the Challenger will be a beauty too...with that said ..I think when you are done with yours...it'll be just as likable if not more so just because of the extra things you do to personalize it :D

FWIW, I've seen pix of early M1s in Europe (back when men were men and stared at each other across the Inter-German Border with nukes hehehe) with yellow chevrons so yes, that looks good.

It'll look even better with the Saunders logo on it and Rei in the TC's position. ;D ;D ;D

As far as the tool lipo's I use they have kept a charge (not full but maybe about half) for as long as 6 months.

Your right about them gaining back a bit of charge if they sit a while but in my tools it is so minimal that I just change batteries.

In the not removable lipo battery tools I have (some small very low geared screwdrivers) that gain seems to be more than with the full size batteries but that may just be because the low gearing still provides strong power .

In a tank I guess that's enough to get it back. But I'll stick with the NiCad's, from everything I've read in the forums lipo's seem to need more careful handling then NiCad's.

Your tank looks great with some markings on it but where will the signature Saunders badge go. Turret side or hull skirt. Maybe there's a use for the square Id panels after all?

I was inspired by the pictures DNAR posted...wasn't going to use yellow at first...wanted to ...but for some reason ..there was a urge to keep a little bit of prototypical reference ...if he had not posted these...there is a good chance it would have went white or dark blue ;)

Yup need to prep the Saunders markings and just put them on lol....got a quick project in the mail...so will tend to that first...then the finishing touch will go on...am also thinking about making a new figure for this one...but not sure about that ;)

Yes...there is a risk to the batteries for RC toys...for some reason...they are a little more unstable than those for tools...which I think are actually LiOns ...so far... knock on wood............I've found the risk worth it.....Everything just runs better with a LiPo...and you get longer play times than the best NiHi

Have plans to put them on the skirts...and uncharacteristically on the front deck...the turret will be completely free of markings ;)
