Fitting a servo to a Tiger 1 machine gun

Has anyone fitted a servo to the Tiger 1 machine gun. Firing the machine gun makes it move back and forth adding to the authenticity. I'd like to do this but have no idea how.

I am thinking of doing this but a servo to just sweep the gun left and right.
Giving it recoil will need more than just a servo I would think - you'll need a controller to shake the servo to mimic the recoil.

The front MG couldn't recoil , as it was fixed solidly to the ball mount .
