Re: Das Reich Tiger
Hi Kevin, I can't speak to the historical accuracy of this Das Reich Tiger I as configured and marked. I'll leave that to others more knowledgeable than me...and I hope they'll help answer the question you have. I'm not the builder of this model as I've mentioned, but I did run across this very nicely done U-tube hit on this very tank.

Re: Das Reich Tiger

Tank with nr S02 its tank from Schwere Panzer Abtailung chief of SS Panzer Regiment 1.
This is tank belonging to Michael Wittmann, see the hatch of commander tank. This is late ver. Im quite sure, that yours tank also was a late ver.
Tell mi Schwerepanzer from where you take this nr?

Re: Das Reich Tiger
Hi I think Kevin is wrong. S02 was an early one and Tiger S02 is very interesting one.

Re: Das Reich Tiger
Very nice piece of research work there, Sebastian! Puts the tank in some perspective as to its historical accuracy. Thanks!
Re: Das Reich Tiger
Im currently working on my own tiger....... A mid production tiger 1. If I can weather it to anywhere near this standard I'd be very happy.
