Alpha these would pop out. you would have to cut them out of that auto chrome thin Mylar self sticking plastic film.

Did one to show you how it would look (depends a lot on its surroundings for the color as it acts like a mirror)

8O CHROME??? 8O ..........chrome  ...........ChRoMe??? :wtf: ...chrome :shifty:
What a concept Giant :D ....kind of like having a piece of Predator technology ...reflective armor :haha: ....and it does actually look pretty cool...the only thing is I'm not sure it will match the Saunders icon I have....paint would go better I think...if the Saunders mark was also printed on a chrome background...man ...that would definitely be a go! :D

Thanks for the suggestion Giant

PS. You painted your rubbers to match the tank?

Kiaser wrote:Well they look good  now this business about the hull falling Apart Alpha  maybe chopping them off and inserting bearing blocks ???
Well that I'm not too worried about at the moment Kiaser....I've always had a design for strengthening Heng Long hulls...the mod would make the hull stronger than any brand out there...told only one member about it about five years ago in a PM ...I do think it has something to do with not using the stock mounting positions though....if you ignore them...the hull will flex like a son of a gun...especially on this tank...with it buttoned up properly...there is practically no flex at all....will probably run her more and see....if I see "stress" marks or cracks...will take her apart and do my mod :D

Be interesting to see if chrome plating a whole tank would make it visually more stealthy on the battlefield under all lighting conditions. Seems like it would be to simple to work.

That's one view that the reflection would be of no use. You would be looking down at a piece of sky running around on the ground.

Kiaser wrote::D I will be the Drone pilot behind the sticks :haha: :haha:

Two words NO CONTEST . That is why your always looking up trust me . :D
Drones are effective because of what they are..Drones....no pilot ...so no loss of life if shot down...only problem is...if it is shot down...unless it is completely totalled...the technology can still be recovered

YUP I agree....you have to see the drone so it can be tracked...if it blended into the sky ...it would make things more difficult for ground/air crews that control it...GPS can only take you to the target...can't bulls eye it... ;)
Think this is where reflective attributes actually helped camo aircraft ...I used to wonder why WW2 airplanes wore high polished surfaces...used to think it was to cut down on drag...but that wasn't the case

three of the planes in the photos above did wear olive colored paint at one time...seems once air superiority was assured....they stripped off all the paint so ground gunners and opposing pilots had a harder time spotting the aircraft

Another drone....they made it bigger ...but they didn't make it better than the original

think the idea in most movie makers mind is that nothing is better than the Human brain in comparison to an AI
Though the refined model looks rather tasty
