They have come a long way Jeman....Really nice job
Asiatam is very similar to the Taigen right?...the torsion bars is what will give you the most challenge...those things are difficult to waterproof individually...might be a good idea to just drill a drain hole..find a rubber plug for it ...and seal the entire suspension area off ...the trapped air should help keep the moisture out...the drain hole would be the contingency plan should water enter that section of the hulljeman wrote:Hi ALPHA ! Thanks bud.....I'm pleased with the touching up but just taking my time.....I really don't want to go to mad with the 2 taigens......they are kinda shelf queens.....but do have a trundle with them here and therethe project waterproofing Tiger is a asiatam chassis ! This is the one I want to get muddy, not worry about the paintwork to much. The two tigers I have weigh around 15 lb, I'm sure I can get the same weight maybe a bit more with the muddy tiger after hull strengthening and a few other metal bits added........have a few ideas on how to waterproof, just getting it all together.....as you can see in the pics the rear idlers are off, but need to replace them and sort the shaft out.........oh the joy lol
Cheers bud
