Yes Alpha, but the pic I've always seen shows less of the periscope then his. Seems like it's the same tank though.
I searched for Abrams loaders hatch images when I was trying to get a pic of the part of the periscope that's inside the hatch.

That image never came up for me before....now it comes up more than I want it to lol....it's good enough...there is usually that same pic of the interior as well....right now all is good...was an ugly day today so I didn't do anything productive to my tank...we'll see about tomorrow...still not sure about the Victory stripe...not sure it's going to fit along with the Saunders monikergreengiant wrote:Yes Alpha, but the pic I've always seen shows less of the periscope then his. Found this pic of a model Japanese type 90 with V markings. You could use the V's On only the modern tanks you do along with your usual markings.
Re: FUTURE SHOCK..SAUNDERS M1A2 ABRAMS
Thanks Giant...you and ATC have done a lot of homework for me lol....did some mock placements today...still sorting things out a little ...so soon you should be able to take in the result

PS The Type 10 might have been a purchase at one point as the Oarai "Consultant" arrived in one....maybe in the future...as I heard Tamiya didn't do a good job on it

The pic is of a 1/24th scale rc model and sells for around $1000.00 in the catalogue it was in.
I also found a pick of Japans a newer tank (a real one) that used the V's only they were smaller. Didn't bother to download it though.

There was also an airsoft shop here that used to carry those made by Tamiya....he closed them out at 99 because there was no interest in them
Found some JGSDF Type 10 with markings on them....like all new tanks ...not too many insignia...still a nice tank though ...was very disappointed when I heard Tamiya dropped the ball on quality upon it's releaseI also found a pick of Japans a newer tank (a real one) that used the V's only they were smaller. A grand entry into the story of Girls und Panzer...you only see it once

Not sure about this...but in the new Movie coming out...it is rumored the instructor will join in with the gals in a CHI HA

I actually found when I was trying to out about your girls und panzer theme. One picture showed it (a real one ) with women dressed in character posing on it at an Anime convention in Japan. The JSD official said the loaning of the tank for this type of thing helped to educate the people about the Japanese armed forces and make them less critical of any type of military force that Japan currently has. Apparently many there are highly critical of the Japanese having any armed forces.

Yeah a good lot of people are against the JGSDF....mostly because how they were mislead during WW2...but what those who object do not understand...is that they are a primary country now...small as they are...they are still a target...so with that comes the need for some kind of defense ...their forces are pretty good...once trained very disciplined ....Personally...I like their Camo

Saw your posts about outlining the V's in black. I don't think any of them were.
