For those who missed this, my "paper Panzer" started life as a H/L Panzer IV. I started to convert it to a later model with a long barrel. Then Mackem found a Dutch site with a history of the Panzer IV and it's variants. On one of the pages was proposed Panzer IV developments. I looked ,I saw , I built THIS. I know it's not finished yet, some washes and drybrushing to go yet. But I just had to chuck it in the show off section. Comments and observations welcome as always. More pictures are to be found in the Heng Long builds section. Pictures show the general process of building and painting. Please enjoy I did ( well most of the time ). All the best for now

Hi oz nothing special on the painting it's just rattle can red oxide primer ( Holts ) all over. Then a base coat of Acrylic dark yellow ( Tamiya ) put down using an old Humbrol external mix airbrush. The cammo scheme was added using field gray and red brown ( Tamiya ). Paint was diluted about 60% thinners to 40% paint. I used an old Humbrol double action airbrush to add the colours and to be honest it's the only way to get the soft edge of German cammo schemes. I then added the ambush dots ( a few went a bit wrong ). My refrence book was Tony Greenland's Panzer modelling it covers everything you need to know about the subject of armour modelling. Weathering is only at stage 1 at the mo with a lighter colour base coat drybrushed onto all raised edges then over all other surfaces to give a faded apperance. Wheels were done in a diffrent way. These were hand painted with a dark earth and black paint mix ( enamel ) then progresively lightened layers of dark yellow were drybrushed on ( over a couple of day's to avoid mixing them ) once again I used enamel paint for this process. Any further questions feel free to ask. All the best for now
