I agree Mr Scalawag, its quite refreshing to have these new age things being taken to the next level.
There seems a whole lot of work to get the basic details right on them, but when that work is done, the result is bloody spectacular

That's great...will be interesting to see another M1 in the works

I've decided that the current Pikachu figure I have would be great as a driver:

Bracket with three magnets each at the rear:

Used an old alum curtain rod cut to size as a bracing. The hull has bowed in already - and the tank hasn't been run for more than an hour since purchase!

Clear parts for the FLIR and CITV. Similar technique as ALPHA's. I used leftover clear styrene sheet dipped in Future polish. The exterior layer is clear sheet with Future to make it really clear and glossy. For the CITV, there are two additional clear pieces behind the exterior one, both in Future tinted with red food colouring.

The FLIR (which I did first) also has two clear pieces with red tinted Future behind the clear one. However, the last clear piece has aluminium foil backing to give some more reflectivity. It didn't work out as well as I thought it would, hence the lack of aluminium foil backing for the CITV. For the other scopes, I'll do the same procedure but experiment with a different backing material.

I'm done with the hull stuff already so I should be applying the anti-slip soon. After that, it's primer time and then paint.

Since the tagline of Pokemon is "GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!" and since this tank is crewed by pokemon, I think it's best to add some "personalisation" to this tank other than just the name by placing "MOLON LABE" somewhere hehehehe
