Post by hawkeye3guns »

Hi all
The next meeting of the club has been booked for September 6th.
For anyone who is visiting us for the first time we can be found at the Great Gonerby Social Club, 8 High Street, Great Gonerby, Grantham, Lincs, NG31 8JP doors open at 10.00am untill 16.30pm. We meet in the main hall of the club and have all the clubs facility's to use ie. Toilets, Tea and Coffee (and a pint in you want it, makes the tank driving more fun ). there is ample parking and a pub nearby (25m) does Sunday lunches if you want to bring you wife/partner for a day out.

As you can see we try to lay out typical scene for you to play in.
If you wish to along and have a look feel free to join us. If you want to take part we have a fee of £5 to cover the hall hiring cost for the tank commander.
looking forward to seeing you.

Hi Pete
I know it fooled me to. Thats why we put them side by side . In actual fact "spotty" as my wife calles it, was a static tamiya that is now FO and is 3mm longer and 2mm wider on the hull but the same height I measured the hulls because of the differant turrets fitted.
Denzil.
ps bridgelayer is fixed. main lifting piston motor had seized solid. replaced it with a new motor unit and dropped gearing from 300rpm output to 200rpm output should give a slightly better gearing but has slowed bridge lifting ram down slightly, have done 4 bridging operations since with no problem

Fantastic all round lads
I would luuuurrvv one of those '251 Zu Fuss's
The bridge layer is a work of engineering that deserves special mention for sure. No "kit" assembly there
The KT comparison picture sure did have the optical illusion thing going on :wtf:

Good on everyone for attending & making a great day using what they made
