FUTURE SHOCK..SAUNDERS M1A2 ABRAMS
Re: FUTURE SHOCK..SAUNDERS M1A2 ABRAMS
Yes, the ZTZs are giving me zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzs hehehehe I prefer the upcoming T-90 though I would prefer someone else buying it so I can turn it into a target for my Leo and M1 hehehehe mebbe I can persuade my cousin... Hmmmmm.... hehehehe
Yep ALPHA, I just forgot you mentioned it before that you made those figures. My memory isn't so good now hahahaha!
CR2 is my favourite tank, Anglophile and all that hehehe plain jane though, because the up-armoured ones as found in Iraq are just ugly - although they do look menacing hehehehe
As for the Hetzer.... I wish I had a million bucks so I can afford one hahahahaha!

I hear ya Woz....I got projects up the ying yang tooWoz wrote:Nice one Alpha.
I'm almost tempted to get one but I've already got enough projects for the next few decades.

put that together with building with Characters like ATC and Giant...well...it only made the build better

The only reason I can think of by Purchasing these new models from Heng Long for you would be for your printing business....take a look at all the fabrication on these models....it's because basically there is nothing out there for them...even Darkas had a time finding a special part for his Leo...So printing all the detail parts would only benefit your business...and maybe even pay for the tanks

Thanks for the kind words Woz

Yup would be nice if someone came out with some Soviet armor...they must be more secretive about their stuff though...must be hard to get measurements from a dead tankatcttge wrote:Yes, the ZTZs are giving me zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzs hehehehe I prefer the upcoming T-90 though I would prefer someone else buying it so I can turn it into a target for my Leo and M1 hehehehe mebbe I can persuade my cousin... No problem ATC...I know how that goes...my memory is getting worse minute by minute lol...sometimes when I'm doing a detail part...I'll put it down...not even a minute...then won't be able to find itYep ALPHA, I just forgot you mentioned it before that you made those figures. Well all I hope is when you get one...I will have one too....building with both you and Giant made doing the M1 very pleasurable

I hear you....the T38 kit isn't too bad in price right now...but to get all the parts to make it a runner is a different story...but you have outstanding scratchbuilding skills ....fabricating one should be a pretty easy job for you...it's a pretty simple design....not many grab handles lol...leaving the mantlet the hardest part to get
As for the Hetzer.... I wish I had a million bucks so I can afford one hahahahaha!

Weren't they announce about the same time Giant....think maybe only a month or so apart...I remember the guy who reviewed the M1 didn't like it too much as it ran rough for him...he did like the Chally though...But dang if that isn't taking it's sweet time to hit the marketgreengiant wrote:Have seen the sample on a tube video that was posted months ago and it does look good. Look at how long it took for the Abrams to get on the market after it was first announced.

TES Chally 2 looks great man. If they release this next then I'm sure I will be cutting styrene to convert it to the TES standard. I think you will agree with me atcttge! Just the good old days my friend.

ALPHA here is what the fine mesh looks like. Will take some careful work to make it fit the grill spaces, glue and paint it but should look really good when done.

A few time consuming bits

just a few lenses...the gun shield lenses are double layered...one beveled set in the back and press fit lenses in the front
also metalized the gun ring
CARPE DIEM GENTS
