Alpha,
So far, very good. I'm looking to see what you will do with your headlights. ;o)

Looks good ALPHA. The grills look much better when not looking straight down at what's under them.
I know you did it as a piece to fit your special tank division but painting the little engine fire extinguisher handle on the left side red would add a tiny bit of color that would really stand out on the overall green tank and be a correct detail at the same time.
looking forward to seeing more pics when you put your unit markings on it.

Let's say it bothered me that the tail end was so bare ;)

The Headlights are actually very good on this model Painless...no frog eye effect at all..both front and rear have nice bezels and appear to have lens covers

Looks right, sits right and by the looks - runs right.
Love the colour and the mesh & handles complete the effort
I know its a character machine, but it would be great to see it marked up in more traditional means ;)
Really really  good
Thanks Herman....she's ok....and is one of my favorites...I guess you can tell by the enthusiasm I went at this one with...Don't think I would compare it with my others as she is a completely different animal....not as much on the tank itself...like WW2 tanks....three times as many grab handles though...and painting the turret is like painting an entire tank
If I didn't use the markings that I normally would use...this one in normal form could pretty much be considered finished...Modern tanks don't have many marks to speak of...maybe just the ID arrow painted on the skirt...will probably do that to this one ...just have to decide on sublime or visible ;)

ALPHA

PS...I would also have to say...this tank is a collaborative effort...if it wasn't for Giant and ATC....not only would this not be what it is...but wouldn't have been as much fun to do ;)

THANKS GIANT...ATC...and again Herman for your kind words

Rear looks good ALPHA, told you those pieces would fit with the rear as it was.
I even think yours are a little larger then the real ones are in this pic of the rear.
Also see you added the v2 battery box hinge and removed the v1 uaapu exhaust. Now you have almost a completely v2 lower hull, all you have to add is the phone box on the rear right side, the little guards on the drivers hatch, the rather complicated looking cover over the right rear tail light and it will be a v2 lower hull.

Yes you did Giant...I guess I'm used to being told things can't be done lol....you are probably the first that said it "could" be done :haha: ...Some reverse psychology must have kicked in and I became my own doubting Thomas :{ ....But as I added the supplied hinges for those ventilator covers ....that blank space just bothered the heck out of me ...everything in that confined area was a risk (you'll find out when you do yours lol) ....the two small panels with the bolts weren't an easy pull (had to use a trick of illusion ) ...the bolt placement had to be just right too....the lift rings were relatively easy to make...but drilling and placing them wasn't an easy task to pull off...as I couldn't drill all the way through for the top bar to provide a solid footing...it would have interfered with the upper hull attachment...I wasn't going to go with that hinge for the battery hatch...but the dimension of it really adds to that bare tail end
Not going to do the phone box...because the GUP gals all use cell phones :haha: (not to mention there is another grab handle on it)...but the junction box is there lol....and that tail light cover........well like I said to ATC..............It's really cool....but ...........NO WAY AM I GOING TO DO THAT ...I want to be able to see and feel as I get older...making that bezel would probably kill me :haha: :haha:
Now the exhaust thing confuses me....I added it and it's still there lol...is it supposed to be gone??????????????? 8O ...I like it there..fills the space :shifty:
Not going to even ask about the shields on the driver's hatch ...can't hardly see in there.. ;)
