jack, why dont you hire youre bearded dragon out to the circus ;D ;D ;D , matt from what i have heard, they cost an arm an a leg if they get sick, and can be more trouble than they are worth, a bit like women ::) ;D still if you want one go for it

I tried to keep them and horny toads as pets as a kid but they would just die! But now they have whole websites dedicated to them so maybe you can keep it alive!

One of my friends had one and it died within a year. I think they may be a bit fragile.
One thing to mind, be carefull what you put in its cage. Don't use any small chips or rough stones. When its eating it can get these stuck in its mouth and cause injury and infection. I think thats what did in my friend's pet.
I gathered natural soil and moss for the cage floor for my son's toads and reptiles and that works great, Just have to keep the moss moist by spraying it.
If you use artificial bedding, be warry of pet store "reptile bedding" because it might not be suitable. Just assume some of it will get into its mouth at some point in time and stay clear of anything that looks like it will hurt it.
