Hi All ,
Just a few photos of my Leo1A4. Inside and out. Not bad for a 40 year old model 8O. Still got the gun Mantal cover and a few bits to do. So far. Tracks from AFV+ all the metal upgrades for the back panel and turret. Will post some more when I have her painted hope you like what i'v done so far and any suggestions as to what I might have missed let me know. Brian...Oh I forgot many thanks to Tomhughill for the DMD and MF units well done Tom  . Brian...

Thanks painless still can't make up me mind as to what colour to paint her OD seams a bit to dark!! I know that was there colour but looking on the web they seam to be a lot lighter green? So a bit lost at the moment as to what shade of green to go for any susgestions would be of great help. And your StUG III/B top notch best i'v ever seen well done  . Brian...

Brizo,
Thank you! There is a ways to go on the last section of it but I have hopes of finishing before Autumn rolls in. You can always go OD and use weathering techniques to lighten up the large flat panel areas leaving the joins a darker shade. Looks really good on armor when it is done.
regards,
Painless

That's not bad, you still have a way to go yet!. I might see if I can get some OD2 I think tamiya only do it in a rattler can?? But not sure. That's more green than brown!! And I think NATO green might be to much! What do you think??. Brian...

Bad lighting :haha: ...it's actually more green than olive ... :haha: ...not that much further ;) ...but yeah...these modern tanks are big...painting the turret is like painting an entire Sherman 8O
