Bargains or what?

Post by BeeKay »

Washington Model Club exhibited at the Huddersfield Model Show today and what a suprise to see a table ajoined to IPMS Derby covered with WSN Tigers and T34s. The guy manning the table explained that they were all in working order but had no radio gear and that if offers were made in an auction all proceeds were to go the the Air Ambulance. He then said that if you wanted to take one away you could for £20 - well I couldn't help myself and picked out a nice winter T34. Just then Chris and Alex arrived (Grompix & Panzershrek) Alex was clutching a nice "green" T34 and before they left, Chris had also helped himself. To end a good day Joe & Keith from the club came away with a First & two Highly Commended between them out of four entries in the competition............perfick!

Brilliant! I'm glad Joe and Keith came away with awards. I thought their entries were stunning. Now I have to find another '76 turret for a T34 (although I could make it into a SU of course...)

A really good day. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
