Now all I need is the elusive T34 hull minus the turret and electronics and I can start a project I have had in mind for months. These tanks never come onto the market and yet there must be hundreds of broken ones out there somewhere.

Which is the best one to go for, assuming that there are any differences? WSN, Trumpeter or Torro. I will be fitting Elmod boards, and the turret will go in the bin. I may end up having to buy a new one and sell the bits I don't need. I have seen metal tracks, suspension, wheels etc so all of this will get replaced too.

Rob
i havent seen any for a while that said the older non I/R are better in the respect the front hatch is openable (quite easy) the i/r version is a one piece molded affair

as to the manuafacturer Wasan (WSN) make the R/c T34 Trumpeteer make the static version 2 types for about £80
Torro use the WSN basics and paint the hull and upgrade the batteries to nicad sticks but they are basic WSN tanks just a bit prettier :D :D

i think the reason broken ones dont come up is because OTB they are a pretty good tank and the electronics are a bonus well to some maybe  ::) :o :o
lets just say they can make a nice static tank lol

slight improvement on mine ive put an angled piece on the floor pan to add strength to the back now all i gotta do is redo mine :o :o :o :o

the very last pic is mine and shows the lack of strenghtening angle

thanks Rob you make it look so easy. I like the idea of the alloy floor pan. App what is the total ratio of the new box compared to a Heng Long unit?

heres how i make the front wheel axel stiffeners ;)
this mod stops the front wheels toeing out and creating resistance on the tracks also helps stabilise the arm ;)
