BUT....

Which seller was it?
What address?
Which country?
Where to contact?

We ALL like good trusty friendly sellers... spread the word.

? Image ?
The seller is in California...not certain if he does world wide service or confines his sales to the US...will check ..and if he does..post his link :D
Thing is...that made this one worth it for me was unlike other sellers on EBAY....he didn't exempt Hawaii from the "FREE SHIPPING" benefit ...almost all the rest charge anywhere from 35-60 US 8O ...add that to the costs I mentioned earlier...and this tank wouldn't have been such a great deal

Keep them Rolling Darkas

Nice looking tank Alpha, I remember being in basic training at Ft.Knox and watching them drill, its pretty bad ass to see one of them running at almost 50mph lock up the brakes and skid to a stop and fire its main gun. Or when they'd have like 30 of them on a firing line on a ridge line open fire at night that was REALLY cool!
If you want a tank that dwarfs your KT ...get one lol....This baby is pretty Sweet...lots of room for detail and added goodies

She has some weight to her too Kaiser....so it's really good it's so roomy..as some reinforcement may be needed ...I really like this one...HENG LONG didn't skimp on it ...I found only two minor problems so far....and one isn't really a problem lol....one is the screws for the hull are different from the old models...they don't "grip" as well...so I had to change those out ...also there is no packaging for the detail parts...they are now just set into the foam packing :wtf:

Interesting and the weight that is good  , it is a shame about the screws but as you mentioned easy fix it will also be good to see how it sits with the goodies loaded into it ALPHA .
The weight is perfect as far as I'm concerned...as hopefully knock on wood ...I won't need to put bearings in the wheels like heavier models will require down the road...Yeah the body screws don't hold well...there are eight mounting points....I found one screw in the box...one other was MIA ....when I reassembled the body halves together...that's when I found the difference between the old threading and the new...Long story short...swapped them out and she's nice and tight

I guess you need to ask which promotion version before purchase there must be three variants PG ,MZ or MS ???
I think you'll be able to tell by the description on whatever site you are viewing....but I have to say I was skeptical...I first saw the mid production on EBAY about six months ago...that was supposed to have metal tracks sprockets and idlers...but the guys who were listing that model were the guys who shorted me on my KT
Plus buying that one from them would have cost me an extra 40 dollars for ship...bringing the total cost to a tad over 400Image...not to mention that KT took forever to get to meImage...so being they had two thumbs down...I thought I'd wait for a different seller to list...as no one else had the Abrams with metal anything offering only the plastic versions...which would have been more costly ...just because the metal tracks and road wheels sell separately for about 150 for either set with ship.... putting the tank closer to the 500 dollar mark
See I do not understand why you would use the term promotion version :wtf:
Image
PROMOTION= PRO VERSION Image you should know by now Kaiser...those Chinese Companies have some bad Translators Image...They probably don't realize when it comes to these things...to us PRO means PROFESSIONAL Image
The guys are waiting for the challenger 2 to come out ALPHA all hell will be unleashed :haha: :haha:
which makes sense now seeing this ,That was the problem they had with the metal suspension it seems they have it all sorted not to long to wait :D

M1A2 is on the list ;) very nice pick up I like it .
Dunno Image...if the release of the Challie follows the same release pattern of the Abrams...I'm going to wait...just because lol Image

Carpe Diem KaiserImage

Yo, Alpha,

How do you like your metal tracks?

Is it better than tracks with rubber pads? (I don't know if you have tracks to compare with)

I'm thinking of buying another set of tracks but then without that stupid rubber pads.
Sure, they look good and in RL they belong to this type of tank but, they're just TOO adhesive (too much grip) to the street or an indoor floor.
Maybe because my tank is really heavy.

I like your new tank, I want one too... Image

:haha: :haha: ...The Metal Tracks are not only FANTASTIC :D ...but a relief...didn't want to mess with any rubber pads ;) ......... :haha:

I think HENG LONG also changed their compound....the metal doesn't resemble that of the older Heng Long Metal tracks ...the metal looks more like Mato or Taigen ...but more "BEEFY" :haha:

OH :O ....I'd wait for Dave to get them as well...He's tops
forgot to say...have seen those with the pads on a listing on EBAY a couple of years ago...I call them "PARADE" tracks...as they were used for hard pack surfaces ;)
