Darkas' pictures - Leopard 2a6

Post by Darkas »

Just a test...

I don't want to place too big pictures in this thread because that will cause slow page loading.
So I place medium sized pictures with underneath them a link to a big one.
If you see enough on the small picture, there's no need to load the big one.

Here we go...

What a lovely job of work, although it reminded me of a question I have wanted an answer to for years,
What was the design team thinking when they first laid down the drawings pre prototype?
Any anti tank gunner would rub his hands with glee at the shot trap on the leading edge of the turret. :/ shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

This is just the paper cover of a fire arms magazine. Excellent to use for lenses on my tank.

I wondered this to a while ago so I researched it and apparently shots are not designed to be deflected by the arrow head armour on the turret front but penetrate and be absorb by it, it's actually hollow inside and designed to deflect/ disrupt APFSDS,HEAT etc path
