bb gun.

Post by afv »

Howdoo,
can anyone tell me if the rubber washer in the bb unit fits over the barrel or just butts up against it ( no i'm not fitting the straw in the barrel, it was just to use in place of in the photo )

thanks and regards
Jack.

if my memory serves me right, i think it just butts up to it. Its a while ago since i stripped my BB gun, had to buy another BB unit as i pushed my metal barrel down to far and split the washer, the gun wouldn't fire after that, no seal so the air couldn't get behind it.

As displayed in the picture, the rubber washer is the wrong way round. The flat part butts up against the barrel and the tapered section gets stretched to form a tight seal when the tapered breech nose pushes the BB into it.
