Stug IV Re-visited

Post by SCHWEREPANZER »

Back in May, I asked for some advice regarding the gun travel lock used on the Stug IV. And, at that time I posted a picture of my Stug IV without the travel lock. With the help of the input into my question, the travel lock is now made and installed on the Stug. Here are a few pics of the Stug, now almost complete with only a little work needed on the periscopes. Hope you like them.

Well, I think you have all summed it up, its a huge. I have one of these planned as well, if it looks half as good as this, I will be happy.

Thanks to all for the kind comments. I bought the tank from a seller in Germany and had it shipped to Gary Farrow in Essex UK for some pretty significant detail changes and Gary's superlative painting and weathering skills. The tank looks far different from when I first saw it. I'm just glad to be the tank's current steward.
