Re: Tank painting
If you are serious about the hobby I suggest getting an Iwata airbrush, HP-C are the best Ive used but the Neo does a great job for the money.

If it's something you'll do more and more of, I'd invest in both a compressor and good airbrush. I can recommend both the Iwata HP-CS and the Iwata Revolution. Both are all purpose but the Revolution brushes are easier to use.

Re: Tank painting
Hi Spartan, I made the mistake and bought a mini-compressor and very much regretted it. I am going to buy a decent compressor with tank and water trap - something like this:
The mini compressor I bought just does not have the constant pressure to do a decent job resulting in frequent clogging and patchy results. Considering I paid £40 for the mini-compressor I should have spent the extra £30 for a decent piece of kit and saved myself a lot of frustration and wasted effort to produce poor results.

Re: Tank painting
Same here a top compressor one of the best buys i have made ! Even got two air brushes with it!
A must buy you wont regret it! You can spray a hole tank with three small tins of Tamiya paint so it will pay for itself in the end
