Re: sick of ebay
Have a look at his feedback and see what he normally ships them for, might give you a bit of ammunition if you get involved in a row ,

He's quoting £11 postage in England If I remember rightly you are in Ireland? and he wants £25 postage, this guy is having a giraffe £11 for England is over the top but £25 for you is taking the piss unless it's next day, what you can do is pay the full amount so long as he invoices you through the auction pay him with pay pal as soon as the parcel arrives check the postal stamp it will have the price on then you can mount a claim through PCbay and give him the relevant feed back as in postage the lowest amount of stars you can give him along with the description in your comments you can say that he's riped you off on postage. BUT if the parcel comes through at say £20 then that is ok don't forget he can charge for packing materials so don't be to hard on him for that, at a guess I would say postage would be around £10-15 though I may be wrong

i think rivet' is right on the money (no pun intended) he's taking the "proverbial" if youve paid £16 to ireland before £25 now is a right joke, i would wait 'till youre tank gets to you, then tell him to "go forth and multiply" for the rest of the money, then report him to ebay for excessive postal charges. let us know how you get on

Do you still have the email where he told you how much the P&P would be? If you do then that should be the amount you pay. If he's miscalculated it that shis problem, you should be able to take this up with ebay or possibly trading standards with that evidence?

Get in touch with ebay -
Tell them that he quoted a price for P&P before you bid on the item but when you won the item and paid, he's now demanding more for P&P. Ask them if you can withdraw your winning bid as the total including P&P is more then you are willing to pay. Also if you've received other tanks from the UK you can tell them how much P&P yu paid for them.
