"Yes, the main requirement for the IR system is to be Tamiya compatible, that's a no-brainer! A pet peeve of mine is that apple, I'm pushing to have it made into a tank commander! This release will be airsoft, then later releases will have it."

So it might not exist yet but it will do.

Hi Guys dont see how there going to make the I.R. tamiya compatable it would mean another new board because the Rx18 isnt tamiya compatable. Unless they have an adaptor board like the BSU to convert the signals.

This isn't a HL tank it's a "Mato Toys" tank and it's got a completley different board in it (with new sound). Mato Toys are building this with an eye on a Tam compatible IR system for a future release.

hi pete
i'm beggining to wonder if the hooben tank will ever be released, let alone have tamiya compatible systems in it, how long now is it that its been coming out?, its a shame really, cos' for a "modern" tank it does look a good one

If the board is Tamiya compatible and will fit an HL, then they are going to be inundated with requests for boards. It's the one thing that everyone wants.

Maybe like a lot of companies they're having trouble getting credit to put it into production.

Well I've got 8 tanks waiting to be "upgraded".

I'm going to do all the usual upgrades to them but I'm leaving the electronics out untill I se what this new IR is like (and how much it'll cost).
