Ok got some pics for you guys of my new hybrid Tiger! Hybrid because its built from a little bit of everything.

Taigen metal lower hull...
Image

Hobby Boss early Tiger road wheels, I'm using these plastic or not as they are very finely detailed wheels. Very Nice!...
Image

This is all of the H/L upper hull that will be used, the antenna tube on the left side was already removed the right side has been removed too since this pic was taken in favor of using a brass tube...
Image

The engine hatch has been opened up and made into a working hatch. I scratch made the latch that would hold the hatch open as well as the block that it catches onto on the hull.

The upper hull from the Hobby Boss Tiger was cut so I could splice it into the H/L upper hull, the reason behind this is the Hobby Boss Tiger has the turret set correctly on the upper hull as well as the Hobby Boss Tigers turret is also correct so the rotation of the turret is fixed. The Hobby Boss Tiger's turret also has the mantel shaped correctly so no need to fix it same for the turret shape. So by using the Hobby Boss Tiger's bits it solves several problems at one time! :D The Hobby Boss upper also has some very nice weld lines so another win! I then cut the driver and co-drivers hatches open so I could use metal Taigen hatches which open and I cut off and removed the jack block that was molded onto the upper and am in the process of smoothing it out with filler putty.
Image

As for the hatches I thinned the mounting pads and thinned the arms down so the hatches open properly.

That's all for now, hope you enjoyed the pics!

What mistake? Did I use the wrong color red oxide primer? Dear God I hope not!

I can't see any obvious mistakes except for those weld lines on the hull roof to left and right of the turret. Tigers didn't have joints there.

David, are you sure none of them did? The upper is from Hobby Boss which is a very nice kit with good details. If they're not supposed to be there that's easy to fix.

Keiser, cool. Thought I messed something up.

Quite sure. The hull roof was made of 2 plates.
