As far as I know it's genuine. performs like it should charges to capacity and has hologram sticker. I know even so that could still mean a fake but compared to buying MIMH batteries which are sometimes less than half the claimed capacity? well i'm happy.

Can't really knock it for that price if it's got the sticker and works as it should. Even the 40c is only 23 quid.

SMC are well worth checking out: http://www.smc-racing.net/index.php?rou ... path=67_97.

£32 for a 9000 mah 60c 2S, shipping was around £30, duties was £22. So per battery the total cost was £45 when I ordered 4. That's the same price you'll pay for a Turnigy Nano-Tech 7600mah 40c. A similar spec battery from Wheelspin or model sport will cost you just shy of £100. Only problem with them is they take ages to balance charge and discharging them individually if they've only been used half way took me 4 hours at 1c.

Well, in the UK we pay VAT on everything. If we import from outside the EU, we get duties. But anything bought from within the EU means no duties, just local VAT. Worth remembering next time people in the UK buy from Axels in Germany but want to vote out of the EU! ;)

The Hobby King UK Warehouse, when the product you are looking for is out of stock, has a nasty habit when you click on order, of diverting to the Hong Kong Warehouse complete with the additional postage charges and extra wait for the delivery,
The way to discover you have been diverted is that the top left which shows UK WAREHOUSE changes to the title of the Warehouse now receiving your order.
I have already recorded my dissatisfaction with Hobby King and as long as there is a supply from another source I shall avoid buying from Hobby King. shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
