I have in the last year been left by my dear Dad, an assortment of tanks. Many and there were many, went off to be put on display at the Muckleburgh Museum by way of a donation. I have been left with three 1/16th Heng Long remote control tanks, two German and one American. I am trying to sell them but confused over the prices I am asking. If you ask too little, do people think there is something wrong with them, I have been honest as they have not been run for a couple of years, or do I ask big money and then put people off.
I would be grateful for some advice. Dad loved his tanks and I would like them to go to someone who appreciates them and knows the love that went into building them up. I would add I am a 60 year old lady, so I have no use for them. With thanks.

Re: Hello and help please
In order to give you an accurate asking price we would need detailed pictures and descriptions of the tanks. Some are only $100 while the same tank with all the upgrades could top $1000. Once we see them and get a good description then we could tell you.
Sorry to hear the lose of your father, are you sure you want to get rid of ALL of his old tanks? I know if it were me I'd hang onto a few of his favorites even if they were only engaged in shelf combat.

Thank you for your reply. I should say I am writing from England. I have photos attached. II will say that all three are Heng Long, one a M4 Sherman, a Panther 3819 and a PanzerIII They all come with controllers, although batteries are run down. I know with one it fires BB pellets and has sound facilities. All three are probably 10 years old?
With thanks.

Re: Hello and help please
Hi welcome to the forum do you know if the tanks are smoke and sound in other words do they make a noise when the start up if you are not sure does the handset have a crystal in them on the bottom right with a number and also is there a button with a key on it if the do the are what we call smoke and sound. If they do have smoke and sound advertise the Sherman for £70 the Panzer III for £60 and the other pantiger for £40 as it is not that accurate. If they don't sell you could lower the price hope this helps.

Yes they do have the smoke ability. Thank you for that advice.
