Tiger 1 Hole???

Hi
I am sure everyone out there will know, but what are the two holes on the front fenders of the Tiger for?
I haven't managed to find a picture of them being used for anything and can't work it out.

I look forward to the knowledge. :)

I think there for mounting a hoist to change the drive wheels.

Here I was thinking that was to mount a pole for his field shower attachment.

I thought it was original intended for the mounting of a front track guard in the prototype.
