Hi All,
I'm looking for some advise regarding fuel vent lines for a King Tiger rebuild. I've seen some great scratch built variations on the theme on this site and I'd like to add this great looking feature to a rebuild now underway. I'm thinking of the extended version from the rear vent area and would like to know what material and in what diameter dimension you'd recommend for the pipe and the rear deck fitting. Thanks to all who'd care to offer their recommendations.

Re: FUEL VENT LINES FOR KING TIGER
I used brass wire rod like.015 or so and a scrape piece of part spur that I cut down and sanded into shape. For the shape of the vent tube I just went off pics I've seen and copied it.
Hope this helps.

I used a bit of solder.

I used solder wire. Easy to shape.
Used brass sprue from engine grills as the securing straps.
The vent cap/ penetration I used a left over brass object out of a PZ III engine grille kit.
Seemed to be close to the pictures for look

Re: FUEL VENT LINES FOR KING TIGER
Did something similar with mine, 1.5mm copper wire, used some PE offcuts to make the straps, some left over PE bolt heads. For the pillar out of the hull, I used some left over brass pipes, cut them to size, drilled a hole for the copper wire to go in.

Re: FUEL VENT LINES FOR KING TIGER
Thanks to all. My main concern was the vent pipe kinking with the bending, but the copper wire (or solder) will do the trick. Thanks again for the good, common sense ideas.
