21st century Toys

Post by Militarymight »

Just had some bad news from a friend in the States who sells these excellent products. Look like they have gone bust.
This company makes the 1/18 scale tanks and vehicles as well as the new 88mm.

Bloody Hell!! That's bad news.
I hope they dispatched your goods before they made the announcement.

21st C have been struggling since they where kicked in the gonads by Walmart on the 1/6 Stuarts, Walmart was having everything 21st C could produce after a few shipment's they pulled the plug leaving 21st C with a very large stock of tanks they struggled to sell, 21st C also had a 1/6 Panzer IV and Sherman in development for Walmart

i agree with stewart, wallmart are a right bunch of gits, for doing that to 21st c', but i wonder if there is an ulterior motive for doing it, like they want to buy them out on the cheap? either way its underhanded

The company will have stock in there warehouse once it has been decided what is going to happen to the company be it closed for good or sold to another buyer the stock will then be sold off though we may see nothing for a while

Thats a shame to hear, they made some interesting stuff, HUGE too! Glad I put my order in with Andy when I did, the 88 may turn out to be a collectors item if there is no rescue.
