Interesting news, shows the value of a forum. What sort of prices have you guys been getting, inc postage to the UK?

I know I tried buying direct from Clark not long after he appointed Tankzone, they didn't even have boards in stock, and he advised me that he was unable to supply. If the gameplan has changed then that is good stuff, the new TK60 looks pretty impressive.

Hallo ROB I trust all is well with you. Including 4 receiver connecting cables and postage the TK22 cost me £92.24 or 119.35 EURO's which I think is a fair price for peace of mind.

Looks like inflation, or popularity, has taken hold?

I recall that when the TK22 was available directly from Clark I could get the board, IR receiver, apple base, remote and all of the cables for around £60? I still have a Clark remote which I am hanging onto in case I ever get another board. If I could pick up a bare Bulldog or Pershing TK22 for around £30-£50 I would buy one.

At £100 we are on the same price point as the IBU2, the TK60 will be around £160, up into IBU2 Pro and Elmod territory so will be facing some stiff competition.

It seems that the US have gone for the Clark board as the preferred upgrade, whereas the IBU's are popular here, as to whether this is a price thing, or a customer support thing, I have no idea? They have different functionality, but are both very good at what they do.

Blimey prices have risen! At almost £100 that's ibu2 base price, so I suppose which you go for is down to personal preference!

Hi ROB, good morning TOM, IN common with most everybody else I have tried the RX18 in both its analogue and digital forms both HENG LONG and TAIGEN and I have an IBU2 PRO which is brilliant, although it does take up space in the hull and that is why I am trying the CLARK board to see if I can fit it without having to modify the hull floor, I expect to be disappointed with it when I run the comparison. But those people on RCUNIVERSE with CLARK boards do speak highly of them and I am not Luddite enough to not give it a go. As to price I regret not buying one when CLARK was selling direct at just over half the going rate.shaun

Kiaser Hi, Thank you for the heads up,
I already have a big bag of RX18 compatible plugs that I bought for about $2s from a dealer in Hong Kong and they have been very useful on other projects, and I have the proper Sony remote so I shall refer to a download that comes from this Forum which covers the whole job upto and including programming,
The attraction is the size because the IBU2 PRO has to be the leader of the pack in every other respect, and if I hit a problem I know you and lots of other good friends on this Forum will help out. Take care shaun

I think the small plugs are 1.25 pitch. The HL ones are 2.5 pitch.

You can buy from HK but I've no idea what their called to search for them on ebay.

Following up on those dinky little plugs, here's a thread I started and had useful info posted to:

Just a quick note if you are on BB you don't need to use the two small plugs. One is for the IR emitter and one is for the flash. You could also get away with using HI flash which also does not use the micro JST plug. As always there seems to be a premium with all things European. Clark is popular here as you can get them for just over $100 USD which is a hell alot less than 100 pounds/euro. The new HL/Taigen 2.4Ghz set is almost $100 here so it is a no brainer. Tk-60 will probably be priced close to IBU2 and not IBU2 Pro here just to maintain the price point advantage I would imagine.
