That. Is. Nice.  ;D

Amazing detail work. Looks so real. Like a museum piece. What paints and methods were used?

Hi Mikeh

First of all I have to say that I do not own any air brush equipment.

What paint and method ? Basically the normal Tamiya acrylic paint 'Olive Darb' and 'Nato brown'. Also a set of oil based colours for the washing and artist crayon in different colors for the dirt, dust and rust. For washing I have used black oil colour and turpentine. The consistency is like strong black coffee and use a flexible thick paint brush to apply it. For the highlighting I have used simple white oil colour. Then dirt ,dust and rust applied with a short haired hard paintbrush. The last step is to cover the complete tank with 'Gunze Top Coat' acrylic clear matt paint in a aerosol can. Below you find four links which demonstrate the basic techniques which I use.
