So i figure now i have them i'll finaly make a post in the new member section!
I'm Malcolm, 31 and live in Wolverhampton.
Normally i race 1/28th scale Kyosho Mini Z cars, we compete in the international HFAY Championships (How Fast Are You!)
So far this year i'm probably not doing too well as i've missed the first races of the season, just because the race days have fell on days i could not make

However last year i finished in a respectable 25th in the world standings, the previous year i made 31st, but my best year was my first, where i came in 17th out of 114 competing.
Not sure if i'll get more in to it or slowly dwindle out of it, we'll have to see how it goes!
Who knows, maybe i'll get too in to tanks to have time for the cars!
Here are some pics of my tank (my first and current only tank).
It's an Heng Long M41A3 Walker Bulldog, it was originall going to be called just the Bulldog, but then they named it after General Walton Walker who died in a jeep accident in Korea. It was developed soon after the Second World War to replace the M24 Chaffee light tank and first production vehicles came of the line in mid-1951, and by the late 1950's more than 5500 had been completed.
The Us Army eventually replaced it with the M551 Sheridan light tank, though a lot of people thought this was a mistake and not as good as the M41.
The M41 was a pretty fast tank at 72kph running on a 6 cylinder, supercharged petrol engine, but had the downside of being very noisy and only being able to cover about 100 miles on a full (530ltr) tank of petrol.
I'm no expert on tanks, to be honest i've only just started learning, but i have a good book and will hopfully pick it up fast

Here she is, i think i might call her Betty, after my first car, a Nissan Micra...lmao
