Looks like you all had a really great day (he says through clenched teeth!). I'm gutted that the weather was too risky to trave such a distance.
Really great photos - I wish I'd been there. >:(
Another successful meet for the 16thIRAD. That's got to be good after all.
Cheers folks

Hi Guys
Thanks for a good day out yesterday and the kind comments on my tank transporter. The model is a Sterling T26 tractor and M15A trailer. This was a prorotype vehicle intended to replace the Pacific Dragon Wagon after WW11 but never went into production. The trailer is the standard M15A used with the Dragon Wagon. The trailer inself was used behind the Mack 123 right up to the 1960s.
Cheers Andy

Foden, that is one amazing piece of engineering, it runs without any effort a pure credit to you.
Neomax, Pauline's job is taking us to Brussels for the next 3 years, so I will be able to walk into any model shop and buy Tamiya aerosol paint without any problems

Hi Guys, A few pics and decription of Sterling T26. Has already explained US Army prototype. The model is entirely scratch built except for 4 Tamiya truck axles and a Como motor and gearbox. Built mostly from aluminium and plasticard. Home made transfer boxes where made using 4mm wide meccano gears. Pictures show whats basically involved. The motor undernearth the trailer works the ramps by a screw rod system. The tyres are by Lego. Cheers Andy
